Chicago is my Canvas views the city as an organism built on light and metal. Urban infrastructures, buildings, trains, streets, act as carriers of light in constant motion. Through long exposures and light painting, photography records these trajectories as visible traces of time.

All light paintings were created live in-camera during the photographic process, without digital compositing or post-production effects.
